FDB is the largest member- and consumer organisation in Denmark with more than 1.6 million members.
FDB owns Republica A/S, Libris Publishing and 38% of Coop Norden AB (which owns Coop Denmark A/S).
FDB publishes the monthly magazine Samvirke. FDB creates added value for the members through ideas and actions, an by being a significant member- and consumer organisation.
The entire organization numbers 4,300 representatives elected by members. FDBs Board of Management consists of a ceo and a cfo.
The total number of people employed by FDB, including subsidiaries, is approx. 200. Fifty of these work in the FDB organization itself.
